TRIBAND GAMES COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
At Triband, we want all of our players to have the best time possible when playing our games.
These Community Guidelines apply when:
Playing the game
Interacting with others in the games
Interacting with others outside of the games through our associated fan channels
Live-streaming or sharing our content (e.g. when streaming the games)
Using the games/IP to create fan content
We are really proud to have awesome players participating in communities across our games. To make sure that we have a safe and fun environment for everyone, these Community Guidelines represent which behaviour we do not condone and what we consider misconduct.
Please do this:
Play fair and have fun!
Help other players when they need it
Be nice and respectful when talking with and to others about the game
Report to us when you see someone breaking the rules
Please do not do this:
Of course, the obvious rule of thumb is: Don't be a jerk.
Here are the details of what not to do:
General misconduct in a chat environment; offending other players and purposely spoiling their game experience
Spamming and advertising
Encouraging others to break the rules
Threatening self-harm or harming others
Homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, ableist, ageist, racist language
Hate Speech
Phishing for personal contact or account details
Impersonating a Triband or affiliated employee
Defaming people or groups of people publicly
Discussing sexual content or violence
Making false reports
We also take targeting of individual Triband and affiliated employees very seriously. Actions will be taken on a case-by-case basis.
This list is comprehensive, but not exhaustive and serves as a guide when reporting. We reserve the right to deal with misconduct no matter where it appears.
What kind of fan content can I make?
We love it and encourage it, but avoid doing this:
Do not make it look like we made it
Do not sell your fan content or use our IPs for commercial purposes
Do not associate any of our games or IPs with homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, ableist, ageist, racist or otherwise inflammatory content.
Because our games are parody games, they contain many references to or hints of other games. Be advised that the original IPs you see referenced in our games are the property of their copyright holders.
This also goes when streaming or making gameplay videos.
What can happen?
We hold the right to take any consequences we deem appropriate in reaction to breaking the Code of Conduct, including but not limited to:
Temporary or permanent banning from making/publishing user-generated content
Temporary or permanent banning from fan channels and social media pages
Temporary or permanent removal of content
We also hold the right to remove content if it references content that has been revoked from our game.
How can I report unacceptable behaviour in-game?
There are several ways to report misconduct in our games. Some games have a direct report button, whilst in others, you can access support via the Settings menu.
We appreciate each and every one of your direct messages and are happy to have such an engaged and caring community - let’s keep it kind together!
